Environmental Field Technician (10)
Conduct hazardous materials surveys including sampling for asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and other regulated materials.
Perform air monitoring and on-site microscopic analysis during asbestos abatement projects.
Perform lead risk assessments and inspections.
Complete and submit accurate Daily Field Reports.
Independently operate relevant field equipment.
Perform other field and office tasks as necessary.
Laboratory Analyst (3)
Analysis of bulk environmental samples (asbestos, mold) for detection of environmental hazards
Learn and perform advanced polarized light microscopy (PLM) techniques
Participation in annual laboratory accreditation proficiency rounds and quality control tests
Generation of detailed analytical notes
Microscope calibration and station maintenance
The ability to work collaboratively with team members and management staff to achieve lab goals, solve problems, and suggest future improvements.
You will be the first point of contact for our company, offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. – 70%
Other responsibilities include preparing environmental reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, from the MS Office Suite and office equipment. A keen eye for detail is also a must. Ultimately, a successful candidate should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office. – 30%
The primary role is an environmental health and safety training, and the duties involved should include, but not be limited to:
Learn the core classes that ETC offers to be able to teach them independently
Training environmental health and safety courses both online (virtual) and in-person at Romulus, or off-site
Preparing course materials needed for training
Reviewing, editing, and updating course materials as needed
Provide professional expertise to our other departments and clients upon request
Documenting class attendance, sign-in sheets, pictures, and payments for off-site training courses
Director of Training
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Director of Training to join the ETC Group (ETC). ETC is a Michigan based environmental consulting firm with three main revenue streams:
Environmental, Health and Safety Consulting services
EPA and OSHA approved Environmental and Safety Training services
This leader will maintain and expand all current ETC course offerings (primarily based around asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, health, and safety courses) and at the same time expand ETC’s course offerings into new complementary areas. ETC has forecasted a doubling of training revenues for 2022 and the training director will have full accountability for achieving this goal.

Consulting Services Coordinator
The Consulting Services Operations Coordinator is responsible for executing the necessary operational tasks and business functions that keep the Consulting Service department operating as a productive and efficient entity.
Human Resources Coordinator (PT)
The Human Resources Coordinator will act as the point of contact and corporate advocate for ETC employees. The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as the liaison between employees and insurance providers. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The Human Resource Coordinator ensures certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, and file maintenance.
